Michael Jackson’s son Blanket — who now goes by the name Bigi — made a rare appearance at his local Target in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The youngest child of the pop star, 22, was seen wearing a black “Star Wars” graphic T-shirt and a pair of black athletic shorts with a red stripe down the side as he browsed the aisles in the store.
He appeared to purchase a Minecraft game, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, and Kleenex tissues during the outing. Bigi is a gamer and drives a bright purple Tesla, according to the Sun.
It seems Bigi is a big fan of the “Star Wars” franchise, too, as he stepped out in a similar fashion in March while wearing a Darth Vader shirt with black athletic shorts and matching sneakers.
Earlier this week, Janelle Monae poked fun at the King of Pop and his son on social media by recreating the 2002 incident where Michael hung his then-10-month-old son over a balcony.
In the post, Monáe, who was dressed as the late star in a red shirt and a short black wig, dangled a robotic dog over the balcony of her hotel.
She deleted the post after she began receiving backlash from fans who believed it was disrespectful to mock Michael, who died at age 50 in June 2009, at such a “low point” in his life.
“The fact that @JanelleMonae is so classless now and attacking @JanetJackson brother Michael Jackson who has been dead over 15 years is pathetic and sad. Janelle I hope you never have to face his sister now because what you did was sick and evil and you know it!” wrote one X user.
Bigi continues to live a mostly private life. Though, he made headlines in February for writing and directing a short film titled “Rochelles.”
The project earned him the award for Best Drama at the Santa Monica Film Festival.
Michael was also a dad to son Prince Jackson, 27, and daughter Paris Jackson, 26, whom he shared with ex-wife Debbie Rowe.
The 13-time Grammy winner welcomed Bigi (born Prince Michael Jackson II) via surrogate in 2002.
