The humanitarian side of Chris Brown that don’t get talked about enough
— Chris donated 50 cents from each ticket sold on his 2006 Up Close & Personal Tour to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital in New York. In the end, he donated $50,000.
— In the summer of 2013, CB teamed up with Reebok, his own Unity Campaign, and his fans (Team Breezy) to donate 1,000 pairs of shoes to the “WE US: Walk Everywhere in Unity’s Shoes” event.”
— Remember the 2013 incident which involved CB crashing his car after he was trying to escape a Paparazzi chase, well it later turned out that Breezy was on his way to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. Chris Brown still arrived at the academy despite the incident and witnessed 11 students auditioning for 5 prestigious scholarships provided by his Symphonic Love Foundation. Touched by their dedication and passion, he decided to award all the finalists with scholarships. The scholarships covered various expenses, including after-school and weekend training, audition fees, entry, and a place in the annual concert.
— In 2017, he partnered with Get Schooled Foundation to launch #TeamBreezyGivesBack, a campaign created to help promote education equality. Through this initiative, Brown donated money and resources to schools located in underprivileged communities across the United States.
— Breezy runs an annual charity drive called “Go Fund Yourself” which encourages fans to donate towards causes they feel passionate about. In 2023 alone, over $500K was raised through the program and it’s been growing massively since then.
