Two cute little kittens, each with their own unique background, crossed paths in a heartwarming manner and developed a strong, inseparable connection.

A while back, Ashley Kelley, a devoted volunteer at Wrenn Rescues in sunny Southern California, welcomed a tiny kitten discovered hiding in a car engine. This little guy was born with a cleft and showed a fierce determination to survive right from the beginning.
Ashley dedicated herself to feeding the adorable tuxedo kitten around the clock through a tube, giving him all the care he needed to thrive. The kitten, named Odahviing, quickly recovered from a slight respiratory infection and started to flourish. It was obvious that he needed a constant buddy by his side.
Then, a few weeks later, Ashley got a message about another kitten in need of foster care. This shaky little kitten was around the same age as Odahviing, and Ashley knew she had to step in to help.

Odahviing, the adorable kitten under the care of Ashley @bruceandfoxfosters, is named Attis and has a condition known as cerebellar hypoplasia (CH). According to Ashley, CH can be caused by various factors, but the most common cause is when a pregnant cat contracts the feline panleukopenia virus and passes it on to her unborn kittens. Despite his condition, Attis is overjoyed to be in a loving home environment and has quickly become a cuddly and affectionate little feline friend.

Despite his condition, CH, which is neither painful nor contagious, Attis manages to navigate his wobbles with grace and joy. Described as one of the happiest kittens Ashley has ever encountered, Attis is known for his laid-back demeanor, love for cuddles, and incessant purring. Ashley is looking forward to pairing Attis with another singleton in the hopes that they will form a bond and embrace each other’s company.

Ashley from @bruceandfoxfosters shared that before their official meeting, Odahviing was already excited for a play wrestling match with his new friend, eagerly squaring up through the panels. When they finally met, they instantly clicked, enjoying some rough play before quickly cuddling up together.

Ashley, from @bruceandfoxfosters, shared her belief that the two kittens in her care will always be best buds. She uploaded a sweet video of the pair playing together on her feed. As the days passed, the two siblings, although not biologically related, grew closer. However, Ashley started to observe some haziness in Attis’ eyes during this period.

Ashley from @bruceandfoxfosters revealed that their cat Attis has been diagnosed as blind in both eyes by the vet. Despite his disability, Attis doesn’t let it hinder him from doing all the typical playful kitten activities. Ashley mentioned, “Even though he can’t see too well and is a bit wobbly, he impressively navigates his surroundings by relying on his other senses. Attis uses his hearing and whiskers to track and react to everything around him. He still pounces, runs, and jumps around just like any other 8-week-old kitten with great accuracy.”

Odahviing has been a supportive companion to Attis, boosting his spirits and helping him improve his motor skills. Since arriving, Attis has made significant progress, moving from barely being able to walk to showing incredible growth and development. Their bond continues to grow stronger, bringing joy and inspiration to everyone around them.
