Bug the kitten, also known as Bug for short, made quite the entrance into Ashley’s life at foster.love.repeat. One day, a kind-hearted person in Orlando, FL was taken by surprise when they saw Bug darting up their driveway, meowing for attention. The little tuxedo feline had an upper respiratory infection and some facial issues, but that didn’t deter the Good Samaritan from scooping Bug up and bringing her indoors.

After getting Bug settled in, the person reached out to Liberation Cat House, a local rescue organization, for assistance. Luckily, Ashley, a dedicated foster and director at Liberation Cat House, had the space and resources to care for Bug. “She was doing her best to care for the kitten while looking for help, and I’m grateful that I was able to step in and provide that help,” Ashley shared with Love Meow.

A little critter was discovered scurrying up the driveway of a lovely home belonging to Ashley @foster.love.repeat. The discoverer affectionately named the tiny feline Bug, and the moniker stuck ever since. Bug was estimated to be about six weeks old, with one eye wide open and one nostril. The closed eye lacked complete development, with the eyelid and eyeball not fully formed, while the open eye had a partially underdeveloped iris. To top it off, Bug also had searching nystagmus, causing rapid and involuntary movements of her eye.

Bug is a determined little cat who doesn’t let anything hold her back. As soon as she settled into her new surroundings, she wasted no time in beginning her exploration.
