These two felines have been watching out for one another ever since they were tiny newborns.

Laszlo and Lestat, two cat brothers, have been inseparable since birth. They were discovered as tiny premature kittens all alone in a backyard, with no sign of their mother. The Orphan Kitten Club took them in, along with their other siblings.

Lestat, the smallest and weakest of the litter, required special attention and care. He was given a constant heat source and Yige Zhao, their foster mom, worked tirelessly through many sleepless nights to ensure his survival.

It was a tough first week, with Lestat facing one challenge after another. But with the help and support of his brother Laszlo, he defied the odds and managed to pull through. Laszlo’s presence and companionship played a crucial role in Lestat’s recovery journey.

Right from the start, Laszlo was Lestat’s unwavering guardian. In Lestat’s most vulnerable moments, his brother remained by his side, bringing him comfort and support. Laszlo’s presence and gentle touch played a crucial role in reviving Lestat’s frail body.
Whenever Lestat’s heartbeat began to falter, Yige witnessed a special bond between the two kittens unfold before his eyes.

Yige Zhao recounted how Laszlo would anxiously wiggle over and lovingly nudge his brother’s delicate form, causing Lestat’s heart to swiftly return to its regular rhythm. Yige mentioned to Love Meow that this occurrence was quite common. During their initial week together, Lestat derived immense solace from his brother, and the duo were seldom separated. Following every meal, Laszlo would wrap his arm around his sibling, creating a touching and affectionate moment.

Thanks to careful attention and great support, Lestat managed to overcome his struggles and started feeding from a bottle independently. During this period, he developed a fever coat as a result of the challenges he faced in his early days. As he got older, the silver grey fur he had acquired would gradually disappear, making way for his original color to return.

As they transitioned into the lively kitten stage, the two cats remained a strong source of encouragement for each other. Lestat always stayed close to his brother, mimicking his actions and putting on a brave front when interacting with other kittens. When the time came for them to be adopted, they were swiftly taken in by a loving family who was committed to keeping the inseparable duo together.

Once they moved into their new home, they quickly made themselves at home and began exploring as if they were in charge. The following day, Amy, their loving human mother, woke up to find the kittens energetically wrestling and playing on her bed.
