Arsenal has the final decision on the Callum Wilson deal

The Gunners  are exploring the possibility of signing a new striker to strengthen their front line, thereby increasing their chances of winning the title this season. Although Arsenal has Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah available, these two players do not seem  capable of scoring consistently.

A number of names have been mentioned as potential targets, with Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen considered top options. However, both are expensive and certainly cannot leave in this winter transfer window.

 Arsenal’s goal.

Therefore, Arsenal is forced to look for alternative options and recently they are expected to recruit Callum Wilson  to strengthen their attack.

Currently, according to a report by The Standard, Newcastle needs to raise capital to comply with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations. Therefore, they are willing to let Wilson leave for only about 18 million pounds.

However, Football Insider suddenly confirmed that Arsenal will no longer pursue Wilson. The reason behind this decision is currently unknown.

Wilson is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League, scoring 86 goals in 215 appearances for Bournemouth and Newcastle.
