It’s no secret that Mikel Arteta will not be given as much money as in the summer to “shop” in January. Arsenal may want to add both Ivan Toney and Douglas Luiz to the squad this month. However, that is almost impossible if they do not push away valuable players.
Nuno Tavares is someone who may be pushed away in the near future, after not being used at Nottingham Forest (playing on loan). Thomas Partey is another valuable deal that Arsenal can take advantage of to make a profit in January.
The oft-injured midfielder was approached by Saudi Arabia for £35m in the summer, but ultimately stayed.
Football.london said Partey coul absolutely be sold in the last week of January, if Arsenal receives a reasonable offer. He is currently earning a salary of more than 200,000 pounds/week and has not started a match with Declan Rice since the beginning of the season. When Partey is at the age of 30, Arsenal needs to be ready to invest in his future.
