Fabrizio Romano: Arsenal made a smart decision in the transfer market

Last season, Albert Sambi Lokonga did not show much during his time on loan with Crystal Palace, however, the Belgian midfielder has had more opportunities to play under Luton Town this season. And Fabrizio Romano affirmed that Arsenal believes they have made the right decision with Lokonga.

The Italian journalist said:

“Albert Sambi Lokonga is starting to make a huge impression during his loan spell at Luton Town, and I understand  Arsenal believe they have made the right choice with this move.”

Barca joins the race

 Lokonga are progressing at Luton.

“It hasn’t always been easy for Lokonga since moving to England, as he struggled in the Arsenal first team and didn’t make much of an impact during his previous loan deal at Crystal Palace.”

“However, Edu made a smart decision to want Lokonga to stay in the Premier League and play regularly. In the summer, Arsenal will reassess the situation before making a decision. For now, they just want Lokonga to focus on the second half of the season at Luton.”
