UFO hunters are frantically sharing a video of an object believed to be an alien flying saucer. To these conspiracy theorists, it is considered the “best evidence” they have ever seen.
A UFO is said to have appeared on top of a mountain in Mexico, with someone nearby filming it with his phone. The blurry footage was shared to YouTube by channel IvanHator TV without any basic information about when or where the mysterious object was filmed, other than the тιтle “UFO landed in a Mexican mountain”. In the video, two men can be heard speaking in Spanish and pointing his telescope and camera toward the strange object. The video shows that the object is made of metal, round or conical in shape.
This video quickly caught the attention of conspiracy theorist Scott C Waring. Mr. Waring runs the blog UFO Sightings Daily, where he shares images, video clips and other claims about alien phenomena. He said: “I have to admit, at first I thought this was just a staged video, but it wasn’t. As I watched, I realized the people there were trying very hard to focus their cameras on the hillside. The conversation was in Spanish, I didn’t understand what they were saying but I could hear the seriousness in the tone which was absolutely amazing and I wish we had more footage of it.” Mr. Waring went on to say there have been more than 50 reports of UFOs across Mexico in the past decade. He believes this is evidence that visitors from other planets are here and watching us.
However, there is no actual evidence to support this claim, and the circumstances of the video’s publication raise questions about its plausibility. The video was shared to YouTube by a channel based in the Philippines, which appears to share a variety of pre-edited content to generate views. Mr. Brando, who runs the website ufoofinterest.org, which explains UFO-related hoaxes to exploit and make money from advertising, said: “Many of these videos are fake or intentionally misleading. Misinterpretation of NASA images and videos.”
