Today marks another year of my life, but the celebration feels incomplete as I haven’t received any birthday blessings yet. Birthdays are special occasions where we often expect heartfelt messages, warm wishes, and a sense of being valued by those around us. This year, however, the anticipation of receiving those sweet messages and blessings has been met with silence. It’s a curious feeling to experience—a mix of disappointment and introspection.

Birthdays can sometimes bring to light how connections and relationships evolve over time. While it’s natural to look forward to celebrations and affirmations on our special day, it’s also a reminder that self-worth and joy aren’t solely dependent on external recognition. This moment can be an opportunity to reflect on personal growth, the relationships that truly matter, and the ways in which we can cultivate joy within ourselves.
