Now we know why Nicki Minaj needed those nipple pasties!

Just four days after the 31-year-old rapper took to Instagram to post a series sexy shots in which she showed off her natural hair as well as her bangin’ bod in a black see-through leotard and star-shaped nipple covers, the “Starships” beauty revealed via the photo-sharing site that she was hard at work on what appears to be her new music video.

Mystery explained!

“Behind the scenes. Shot by @grizzleemusic,” the former American Idol judge captioned the super-sexy photo where she’s holding onto her natural hair, which is pulled up into a pony-tail, while rocking a skin-tight black dress which leaves little to the imagination.

In another pic, Minaj gives the camera a sultry stare (while putting her pasties on full display), flaunting her killer curves in addition to her always-fierce attitude.

Minaj also shared several other photos, including a stunning shot where she’s wearing a gold chain Moschino jacket while dripping in matching jewelry as she sports the same see-through bikini she showed off last week.

And while she chose to keep her latest project a secret, since this is Nicki Minaj, we have a feeling there will be many more sneak peeks in store!
