When asked about how Richie became a part of her family, the owner shared, “After having two beloved alley cats for 20 years, we took our time before deciding to welcome a new furry friend. We discovered a local French breeder known for Maine coons and reserved a cat, selecting the color black smoke without knowing just how extraordinary Richie would turn out to be. The breeder predicted from birth that Richie would be quite fluffy. After a four-month wait, we finally welcomed Richie into our home, allowing him to grow peacefully surrounded by his mother and siblings.”

He is fond of having companionship and often trails behind us wherever we go in the house. Richie has a unique trait of being a cat-dog, typical of Maine coons. We playfully refer to him as the sous-chef since he enjoys sitting by the spices, attentively watching our every cooking move.
