Meeting Morocho, Dogo defeated a leopard to save two girls. To rescue the young people, the legendary bull dog fought with the cougar.
A few months ago, Ulises (nephew of the inventor, Dr. Nores Martines) decided to go to La Cocha on some missions. Her goal was to travel and return the same day so she hugged her 10-year-old daughter ‘Sofa’. The “trip” went smoothly.
Upon arriving at the farm, Uise started doing some work with the foreman ‘Tomás’. ‘Sofá’ and ‘Yoli’, daughters of ‘Tomás’, asked permission to walk to a giant fig tree 700 meters from the main house to harvest and eat some figs.
Yoli gets as close to the highest branch as possible, knowing that the best figs are often found at the top of the tree. There’s just one problem. She wasn’t the only one climbing that tree.
Yoli started hearing sounds in the trees when she was about 7 feet above the ground, like branches twisting and leaves moving.
Little did I know that a puma, sometimes called a cougar, was lurking in the same tree.
He looked up and saw a HUGE cougar jumping through the branches above. “The beast used its paw to hit the young man, causing Yoli to fall completely, falling backwards from a height of two meters.”
Morocho, one of Ulysses’s best bulldogs, followed them playfully, wagging his tail, as he practically always did when they passed across the room.
When Yoli’s father heard the girls’ cries, he ran as fast as he could and when Morocho faced a cougar, Dogo Argentino was determined to sacrifice his life to rescue the two girls.
“I think it was a snake,” said Tomás Bracamonte. “I ran over. “I ran towards them as fast as I could.”
“When he arrived here, he discovered Morocho. The dog was seriously injured but still alive. “Puma ran away from us.”
Those two little girls are alive today thanks to Morocho. Morocho’s brave effort surprised millions around the world.
