China’s Olympic Gold Medal Divers Amaze Fans with Perfect Synchronized Performance; Viral Video Convinces Viewers ‘There Was Only One Person’ .hiep

Fans were left amazed after footage of Chian’s gold medal-winning dive at the Paris Olympics went viral due to the pair’s stunning synchronisation.

China’s Chen Yuxi and Quan Hongchan finished with gold gongs in the women’s synchronized 10m platform diving event on Wednesday, beating second-place North Korea and Team GB‘s Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix and partner Lois Toulson who won bronze.

The Chinese duo blew the rest of the competition out of the water in Paris, winning the event with a score 359.10 following an amazing set of dives that showed both individuals appearing in almost perfect unison

Yuxi and Hongchan got off to a blistering start with their first leap off the 10m platform and never looked back with the second-time Olympians winning gold for the first time as a pair.

Footage posted online in the aftermath of their dominant victory shows the two Chinese stars jumping into a pike move, with the side on angle only showing the outline of the nearest jumper to the camera.

Footage posted online shows the pair appearing as one person given their perfect unison

The outstanding athleticism and skill on show in the clip that has so far been viewed over 1million times on X has convinced fans that only one person competed in the event – which of course isn’t the reality.

Reacting to the astonishing moment of diving brilliance, one viewer replied: ‘Holy moly, the first angle I thought there was only one person! Bravo.’

Another similarly added: ‘That looks only one person in the first shot..’.

However, despite the applause that has been generated online, it appears the two Chinese athletes weren’t as impressed with their efforts when analysing their performance.

‘I’m not happy about our performance. All the dives were mediocre,’ Quan told reporters.

‘Before the event I felt a bit nervous and some pressure. I didn’t manage these emotions well,’ Chen said.

‘My performance was a bit unstable and I didn’t handle some of the details in the dives well,’ she added. ‘It was the Olympics after all. Who wouldn’t feel the pressure?
