Nicki Minaj had the honor of being the headlining artist at the FOMO Festival in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday.
But just hours before she hit the stage, the rapper/singer sounded somewhat hoarse when she revealed she wasn’t feeling her best.
‘#Melbourne see you in a few hours!!! #FOMO FESTIVAL #AUSTRALIA au yes I know I sound like a man right now. I’m sick,’ she captioned in a video that showed her acknowledging the fans from Down Under.
‘Australia, you have my heart. I love you so much. Thank You for everything,’ the 36-year old star said in an almost whisper to help keep from straining her vocal chords.
‘Always a blast every time I come here. Always great memories. Thank you so much,’ she concluded, and then shot a kiss directly into the camera.
Never shy to flaunt her love of pink, the rapper/singer rocked crimped pink and blonde hair that was pulled back off of her face in a top ponytail, but still flowed to the middle of her back.

Keeping with her favorite color scheme, she also wore a pink and black bustier ensemble that showed off her famous curves, as seen in another snap showing her striking a pose in an underground parking lot.
The racy number, which also included touches of dayglo green, came complete with black straps and metal attachment rings, as well as fishnet across her chest that showcased her ample assets.
Of course, she matched it with some fishnet stockings and a pair of shiny black leather heeled boots.
‘You a lucky nikka if my mean a** like ya Getchu a bad b**** that wanna be a good girl…only for you. she used to be the sweetest girl,’ she said in the caption of the photo.
She added: ‘Heavy on the MAKK SAUCE!!!! Heavy on it!!!!!’ in another similar Instagram photo.
The FOTO Festival, headlined by Nicki also included: Rae Sremmurd, Mura Masa, Amine, Kali Uchis, San Holo, Anna Lunoe, Loud Luxury, Cosha, Carmouflage Rose, Just A Gent, Mimi and Tobiahs.
The Pink Friday star will kick off a European tour February 21 in Munich, Germany. The 22-show will zig-zag around the continent and conclude with a show in Geneva, Switzerland March 28.
